The Santorini sunset catamaran cruise sold here is a 5-hour shared trip on a 74-foot or 80-foot catamaran, from $88 per person, with hotel pickup, a barbecue dinner, unlimited white wine and soft drinks, and the sunset watched from the water inside the caldera. Before dark it stops at the volcanic hot springs, off Red Beach and off White Beach for swimming and snorkelling. With 7,400 reviews at 4.6 on GetYourGuide, it has the deepest review record of any catamaran listing on the island. The trade-off is size: the operator says up to 50 to 55 guests share the deck, more than twice the 20 on the smaller boats on this site.

Meeting point
Hotel pickup, starting almost 1.5 hours before departure; drop-off at your hotel — Give the full names of everyone in your party and your hotel when you book. The operator then emails the pickup details (check your spam folder).
What time the sunset catamaran leaves
The start time moves with the sunset, so the listing shows it for your date rather than one fixed time. On the 15th of the month the sun sets at about 20:37 in June, 19:27 in September and 18:43 in October (computed at sea level, Santorini time). The cruise lasts 5 hours and the sunset comes at the end, so the boat leaves in the afternoon. Pickup starts almost 1.5 hours before departure, depending on where you stay. When we checked on 27 October 2026, the next date on sale was 15 March 2027, so do not count on this boat in winter. See the sunset time by month.
The route: hot springs, Red Beach, White Beach
The boat makes three swim stops, in this order: the volcanic hot springs, then Red Beach, then the White Beach area. The listing gives the Red Beach stop 30 minutes. Catamarans cannot moor on these beaches, so you swim from the boat at a point the crew picks close to shore. White Beach can only be reached from the sea. After the last stop the boat sails back into the caldera and stays on the water while the sun goes down. The operator can change the stops without notice in bad weather, and wind is the usual reason.
Dinner and drinks on board
Dinner is a barbecue cooked on board: salads with grilled meat, plus a vegetarian option. White wine and soft drinks are unlimited. Beer is not included, which is the main gap against the luxury catamaran and the small-group catamaran, whose drinks lists name beer. Music plays on board, and there is a restroom. You also get a map of the island's landmarks and a safety leaflet.
How crowded the deck gets
This is the largest boat of the five catamarans compared on this site. The operator puts the limit at 50 to 55 guests, against 20 on the day catamaran and the luxury catamaran, and 14 on the small-group catamaran. More people means a livelier deck: 3 of the 10 latest reviews describe music and a party mood. It also means less room at the rail when the sun goes down. If a quiet sunset is the point, pay more for a smaller boat.
What to bring
Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, a sun hat and a jacket. Towels are not included on this cruise, unlike the other four catamarans here. The operator asks sunset guests to bring warm clothes, because the deck gets cool once the sun is down. Our what to wear guide covers it month by month.
Who should book a different cruise
Book the small-group catamaran if you want 14 guests instead of 55. Book the day catamaran if you visit between late October and mid-March, when this listing showed no dates, or if you want towels and a live guide included. Book the volcano and hot springs boat, from $34, if you want to walk on the crater rather than swim off beaches. Still deciding on timing? Read day or sunset catamaran.

What time does the sunset catamaran leave?
It depends on the date, because the cruise is timed to end around sunset. The listing shows the start time for your day. Pickup begins almost 1.5 hours before departure.
Do you swim on a sunset cruise?
Yes. There are three swim stops before dark: the hot springs, Red Beach and the White Beach area. You swim from the boat, because catamarans cannot moor on the beaches.
Is dinner included on the sunset catamaran?
Yes. A barbecue of salads and grilled meat, with a vegetarian option, is cooked on board. Unlimited white wine and soft drinks are included. Beer is not.
How many people are on the boat?
Up to 50 to 55 guests, according to the operator. That makes it the largest of the five catamarans compared on this site.
Which boat will I be on?
The listing names two: the 74-foot Ocean Voyager and the 80-foot Tahiti. It does not say which one sails on a given date.
Does it run in winter?
When we checked on 27 October 2026, the next date on sale was 15 March 2027. The day catamaran and the sailing catamaran still had October dates.
